Resource Teacher and Student Success Support For Students
Hello Bucs Students/Families:
We hope students/families are doing well. To support students in moving back to online learning we thought we would reach out with a few key messages. It is really important we all work together to stay as engaged in learning as possible. Students are expected to do their best to keep up with class expectations as work is being assessed, which will contribute to final grades and ultimately to successful acquisition of credits. Classroom teachers are available daily to support students and it is vital that students participate daily in the synchronous(live) learning provided. Attendance each and every period is required to support student achievement. Students are to log into their D2L classes or Google Classroom by the start of the class and follow their regular daily schedule:
Period 1 - 8:10 to 9:30 AM
Period 2 - 9:40 to 10:55 AM
Period 3 - 11:40 to 12:55 PM
Period 4 - 1:05 to 2:20 PM
For those students who are struggling; Mrs. Berg (Resource), Mrs. Badawey (Student Success), and Mrs. Fairbank (Student Success/Resource) are available daily to support as needed via the office hour links below.
Students can connect with Mrs. Berg, Mrs. Badawey and Mrs. Fairbank via the BDSS website Click here for BDSS school website and look for the widget entitled “Resource and Student Success Support” where their office hour links are posted. These links are also included below:
Mrs. Berg's Resource Room Office Hours (8:10-9:30 / 9:40-10:55 / 1:05-2:20)
Mrs. Fairbank's Resource Room Office Hours (11:40 -12:55)
Mrs. Badawey's Office Hours
When a student clicks the office hours link they are put in a waiting room to be admitted. Please be patient as other students may already be in the meeting. Continue to work as you wait for Mrs. Berg, Mrs. Badawey or Mrs. Fairbank to admit you!
As always, please reach out to us if you have questions or concerns, or if you need assistance making connections for support. Please keep well,
Sandra Orr – Principal
