First Ontario Credit Union Scholarship - multiple awards of $1500 for a student entering their first or second year of post secondary education.
The Niagara Regional Police is offering the Dale Racine Educational Bursary which is designed to financially assist qualified applicants in obtaining degrees or diplomas from accredited academic institutions of higher learning. The Bursary is open to any student preparing to enter college or university who, without financial assistance, may not be able to do so. Deadline April 7th, 2017
RBC Aboriginal Student Awards Program is intended to support Aboriginal students who have at least 2 years remaining in their post-secondary studies. Recipients are selected primarily on the basis of personal and academic achievements and individual financial need. Deadline February 28, 2017

The Brock University Niagara Principal's Scholarship is intended to recognize up two students from each of Niagara's secondary schools who best demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and an exceptional commitment to school and community. The recipeints of this award will be selected by our school principal. The value of each award is $2500. Deadline April 14th, 2017
The Niagara Peninsula Hawkwatch is entering its 41st year of recording migrating raptors at Beamer Memorial Conservation Area. An important part of their activities is education and they are offering a $500 scholarship to a local high school student. Students who are interested must write a 500 word essay on aspects of hawk migration that the student observed and learned about at the hawk count. The essay or project must be submitted by June 1st.
The Legion Bursary Assistant Program is designed to assist students entering their post-secondary education and is not based upon scholastic standing. Please come to Student Services for further information.
Twenty TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community. Each scholarship has a value of up to $70,000 and includes:
- Up to $10,000 for tuition per year (for up to a maximum of four years)
- $7,500 a year for living expenses (for up to a maximum of four years) But that’s not all. These scholarships also help you make connections that could last a lifetime, including:
- Offers of paid summer employment
- Mentorship opportunities
- Annual gatherings, networking opportunities and more
The University of Guelph National Scholarship Program offers 12 scholarships valued at $40,000 each and includes a research assistantship position and mentorship by one of Guelph's leading professors. These scholarships reward top students from across Canada and recognize academic excellence, innovation, community and school engagement and leadership. Students must achieve a minimum 90% admission average to apply. Application deadline January 25, 2017
The Niagara Men's Chorus for successful applicants who plan to study music or music education at a postsecondary institution. Deadline May 31st, 2016.
YMCA Scholarships and Bursaries - Selections are based on financial circumstances, community service, and the individual's personal motivation and desire for furthering his/her education. All applicants must reside in the Niagara Region. Students have an opportunity to receive scholarships up to $300 per year. Deadline May 31st, 2016.
The Dr. J Czerevko Memorial Scholarship is valued at $2000 each (6 scholarships) for students who are entering any field of study in a post secondary institution, shows above average academic skills, demonstrates community involvement and is of Ukrainian heritage. Deadline June 10, 2016.

Treblaires Scholarship for the Performing Arts is valued at $400 for a student who has accepted an offer of admission for Music or Dramatic Arts. Deadline May 20, 2016.
Receive $10,000 for post secondary studies with the Horatio Alger Scholarship program. If integrity, determination, and courage describe you- you have what it takes to be a Horatio Alger Scholar. This scholarship reward students who posses the character to succeed in life and helps students overcome financial barriers of pursuing higher education. To qualify you must have a minimum of 65% and demonstrate critical financial need. Application deadline October 25, 2016
The Loran Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exemplary character, service and leadership. Candidates must hold a minimum 85% average. 30 Loran scholars will receive an award valued at $100,000 including mentorship, summer funding and access to a community of scholarships. The Terry Fox Humanitarian Award is valued at $28,000 over 4 years for a student entering their first year of post-secondary education. This is a highly competitive award and the most suitable candidates are those who demonstrate the ideals of Terry Fox - true humanitarians, individuals who are compassionate and altruistic in their intention to improve the lives of others. The Schulich Leader Scholarship program funds 40 undergraduate scholarships each year across Canadian universities. This program enables Canada's most promising students to pursue their dreams and become the next global pioneers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. If you would like to be considered as a nominee for the Schulich Leader Scholarship you must possess two of the three criteria listed: Academic excellence, Outstanding community, business or entrepreneurial leadership and/or financial need.
