The members of the BDSS Rowing Team have been training hard since November and are ready to hit the water the last week of March.

The Rowing season runs from November, (dryland training) to the beginning of June, culminating with the Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Championships (CSSRA) on Martindale Pond in Port Dalhousie.  Typically, on-water training runs from mid/late March to June.

Boys and Girls, grade 9 to 12 are welcome to try rowing. There is no need for prior experience, just a willingness to work hard and learn! Basic swimming ability is the only pre-requisite to joining the crew.
