Field Lacrosse
Field lacrosse, sometimes referred to as the "fastest sport on two feet," is a full contact outdoor sport played with ten players on each team. The object of the game is to use a long handled racket, known as a lacrosse stick or crosse, to catch, carry, and pass a solid rubber ball in an effort to score by ultimately hurling the ball into an opponent's goal.
Beamsville District Secondary School has had a successful Field Lacrosse team for the past 4 years and will be recruiting for the 2015/16 season!
Tryouts and training begin after March Break. The season includes three Jamborees and participation in a tournament in May.
No experience is necessary!
See Mrs. Hopman in Student Services for further details.
